U13G Valkyrie & U12G Shock Volunteer

On Saturday, February 6^th, the girls from the U13 Valkyrie and U12 Shock, spent their evening serving dinner at the West Side Emergency Shelter.  Each evening, during the winter months, between 200-300 homeless men, women and children are picked up from Albuquerque streets and bused to the Shelter; with support from their families, each participating player provided enough food to feed twenty-two individuals.   The two teams, working together, successfully fed every guest at the shelter with plenty of leftovers being donated at the end of their evening.
