Rio Rapids SC had 2 players play in the first ever U12 Generation Adidas Cup tournament with the Colorado Rapids. Brendan Baird from Rio Rapids Calle and Danny Ross from Rio rapids 02’s, played 6 games in Dallas over spring break. They played teams from other MLS academies including New York Red Bulls, Chicago Fire, Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas as well as international competition from Club America from Mexico.
Both boys received a good amount of playing time, and they represented their families and their club very well. Congratulations to both boys in being selected.
