This past weekend, the Rio Rapids Thrash U13 girls won the Gaylord Sheppard Tournament playing in the Gold bracket. While winning all three games, they avenged an earlier DCSL loss by beating the host team 3-1 in their opening game. The girls followed that victory with two back-to-back shutouts en route to earning their first Championship as a team.
