Rio Rapids Crew Go Undefeated To Win Kelvin Norman Soccer Tournament
June 2014. Members of the Rio Rapids Crew (U10 Boys) along with guest players from Rio Rapids Lobos and 03’s travelled to Denver to participate in the Colorado Rapids soccer tournament at the start of June. The Kelvin Norman Memorial Soccer Tournament was held at Aurora Sports Complex. The team managed to go through the tournament undefeated, winning 4 games and tying the other.
The team the Crew tied in bracket play is who the eventually defeated in the final, with a score of 6-3.
It was a great weekend of soccer with beautiful weather on great fields. Cant wait to go back.
