On Sunday, April 27, Rio Rapids Soccer Club hosted its annual College Showcase for Boys and Girls. The event included a goalkeeper showcase and games throughout the day. Fourteen of the club’s high school age teams had the incredible opportunity to compete in front of 27 college coaches representing the following schools:

- Arizona State University – women
- Colorado State University – Pueblo – women
- University of Dallas – men
- Eastern New Mexico University – men
- Fort Lewis College (CO) – women
- Howard Payne University (TX) – men
- Louisiana Tech University – women
- University of New Mexico – men and women
- New Mexico Highlands University – women
- New Mexico State University – women
- University of the Southwest (NM) – men and women
- Trinidad State Junior College (CO) – men and women
- West Texas A&M University – women
- Western State College (CO) – women
