Over the weekend of March 1st and 2nd Rio Rapids sent their premier U13-18 boys and girls teams to Casa Grande to compete in the first weekend of National Premier League play against Arizona Arsenal, SC Del Sol (boys) and Tucson Soccer Academy (girls).
Despite the long 8 hour bus journey all teams played extremely well on Saturday with the girls winning 5 and drawing 1 game whilst the boys went 2-2-2 against SC Del Sol who are the top boys club out of Arizona.
Sunday saw another fantastic day on the field with the boys again going 2-2-2 and the girls going 3-1-2.
