North Carolina Courage Pro Player & Rio Rapids Alumni – Lauren Milliet
Lauren Milliet, a professional player on the NWSL’s North Carolina Courage, is a Rio Rapids Soccer Club alumni that played for the 97 Zia team. Lauren developed a video for Rio Rapids SC players highlighting the individual training activities that she is doing to stay sharp and improve during the Coronavirus Stay at Home restrictions.
Colorado Rapids MLS Academy Team Activities
Colorado Rapids of MLS have shared with us individual training videos through our Alliance partnership. These videos were developed for the Colorado Rapids Boys Academy teams as training requirements during the Coronavirus Stay at Home restrictions.
Beast Mode Soccer
Are you looking for ways to grow your confidence with the ball? Beast Mode Soccer is a goal-based training system that provides structure and methods for the individual technical training that every player needs – doing so in a mistake-tolerant learning environment. Whether players are playing youth soccer or at the professional level, Beast Mode Soccer shows you how to “Own Your Development” with regular individual training.
Tommy Thompson – MLS’s San Jose Earthquakes
Tommy Thompson of the San Jose Earthquakes has developed videos of train at home activities related to dribbling control, moves and turns along with juggling. He also has uploaded 30 minute/1000 touch skills sessions for all levels. These are full sessions with demonstrations and coaching points. These are the same type of sessions he puts himself through in order to prepare for the Major League Soccer season.

Alumni Advice for Elite Female Soccer Players
Three Rio Rapids Alumni who played soccer at the NCAA Division 1 Power 5 Conference level share insights, preparations and recommendations related to their club experiences, their college recruiting process and what it is like to be a high level collegiate soccer player. The webinar includes Cassie Boren – Rio Rapids 97G Zia – Texas Tech University, Erika Nelson – Rio Rapids 94G Eagles – University of Maryland/University of Florida and Ashley Williams – Rio Rapids 94G Eagles – Kansas University.

Elevate PHW offers youth players offers strength, conditioning and performance development programs. They also can help with injury rehab and have in-house physical therapy and sports massage. Summer training programs are also offered.
