NM Rapids SC Club Fees – 2025-2026

Both DPL and ECNL are finalizing their plan for conference games and therefore we cannot finalize what hosting fees to add.
For DPL these are estimates based on the 24/25 playing and could change depending on where games are hosted.
- For club fee – The listed fee is an estimate and wont be finalized until the DPL meeting in mid may once the conference travel is finalized.
- Currently the listed NM Rapids Fee is based on the hosting costs with 3 other clubs (field rental, including ref assignor, trainer, and water) – 1 home weekend & 3 away weekends
For ECNL the fee is based on the expected conference size of 10 teams (18 games). When this is finalized in coming weeks we wont have to do anything. If there is a slight adjustment on conference size that affects the schedule the budget/fee will be adjusted either way depending on # of games played and costs associated with those games.
* If a ECNL/EA/GA/DPL team plays in DCSL there will be an additional league fee depending on the age and amount of games team chooses to play (8 – $105 or 4 – $65)
** Duke City Fee includes a NMYSA State player fee of $23 to be charged on all accounts paid with e-check or credit card. If a parent pays by check the club will pay the state for the $23

A non-refundable registration fee of $100 will be accepted this year in order to hold a spot for your child. This is applied to your child’s Rapids fees for the year.
If not paying in full when you register, you have the following options for payment.
Payments are due by the 10th of the month
Youth Academy – 3 payments (due July 10, Aug. 10, Sept. 10)
U9-U12 – 3 payments (due July 10, Sept. 10, Oct. 10)
U9-U12 – 6 payments (due July 10, Aug. 10, Sept. 10, Oct. 10, Nov. 10, Dec. 10)
U13-U19 – 3 payments (due July 10, Oct. 10, Jan. 10)
U13-U19 – 8 payments (due July 10, Aug. 10, Sept. 10, Oct. 10, Nov. 10, Dec. 10, Jan. 10, Feb 10)
U13-U19 ECNL/GA/DPL only – Initial Payment plus 9 payments (due July 10, Aug. 10, Sept. 10, Oct. 10, Nov. 10, Dec. 10, Jan. 10, Feb. 10 and March 10)
ECNL, ECNL RL, PRE-ECNL, GA, DPL
For this coming season the club is restructuring how club fees and team fees are collected for the Elite Programs
Club fees (which will remain unchanged from this year and still include coaching fees, Trace subscription and fitness training) will now have a majority of the hosting fees added in (hosting fees are the costs associated with the weekends that we host games – field rental, referee costs (not DPL) and trainer fees (not pre-ECNL). In addition the club fee will now also include the associated registration costs (Elite Program team fee & player and coach registration fees (up to 3, any extra teams will pay for). In all previous years these hosting and registration fees were collected by team managers and were a part of the team fees that were collected throughout the year. All other fees (tournament entry fees, coach travel expenses and any other miscellaneous costs) will still be collected by team managers.
Ultimately for 2025/26 the total costs/fees will not be too different from this past season but a higher amount will be paid to the club and a lesser amount paid to the team/team manager.
Below are the items that are included in the club fee this year.
If any program ECNL/GA/DPL has any significant changes to their scheduled season (example, adding another hosting weekend to the schedule) the club reserves the right to adjust the club fee accordingly to account for this change.

Other Policies
General Yearly Start Dates
U5-U8 – Sept & Oct, March & April
U9-U14 – Early/mid August through Late Oct/mid-Nov, late Jan/early Feb – early/late May
U15-U19 – Post HS – Nov & mid-Jan through mid/late May
Any player failing to make payment of Club dues as directed by the schedule above will be suspended from play until payment is made. The player pass card will be surrendered to the Club Registrar during this suspension period. When payment is made, the player pass card will be returned to the team coach.
Each player (U9 and up) will also be responsible for the Duke City Soccer League fee of $105. The league fee is included in the total cost to be paid to your team manager when you pay your NM Rapids dues, will be paid online with your credit card or paid directly to NM Rapids when paying your club fees. The fees included on the registration page include the DCSL fee. It is included in the registration payments.
In addition to the credit card fees, you will also be charged an additional $2/transaction by choosing the credit card payment plan option. This processing fee is a charge that the Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect charges. If the registration platform does not automatically charge the credit card fees for each payment made by credit card, the fees will be manually charged to each account as applicable.
Return Check Policy – All returned checks will be charged a $25.00 processing fee and must be paid in cash prior to registration being completed and pass cards being issued.
Credit Card Chargebacks – If a credit card charge is reversed, a $30 service fee will be added to the players account.
New Players – Players added during a season will use a prorated schedule determined by the Registrar.
Transfers – Player’s club and team fees must be paid in full before transfers are granted.
No Refund Policy – NM Rapids Soccer Club has a no refund policy. Please refer to the handbook for more information.
Scholarships – Any scholarship player who wishes to transfer must pay scholarship award and all team fees prior to transfer approval.
If more than 4 consecutive weeks of the training season is canceled due to Covid-19 Pandemic by the Federal, State Government or NM Youth Soccer Assoc. (NMYSA) and the time is NOT made up later in the season, NM Rapids will give a pro-rated Rapids Fees refund back for the time missed on the training field for active players on a per season basis (Fall/Spring).
Any refunds to be given will be issued at the end of the Fall and Spring seasons if applicable (Pandemic stoppage of training only)
With regards to other league games and fees (DCSL, ECNL,, GA, DPL…) each organization set their own policies with regards to schedule or refunds
