Rio Rapids 97s (with two 97 Striker players and 1 Rio 98 player) went to the Prestigious Dallas Cup tournament this past week. The Team played some great matches loosing in the last few minutes in both its first matches 1-0 to the 24th ranked team in the country FC Dallas, and U16 Chargers USSF Development Academy team from Florida. Team finished with a strong win 4-1 over a team from Australia. While at the event the team had over 80 college coaches watch our 3 games.
